I love this car seat, I read a ton of reviews before I bought it myself! I was a bit worried because alot of them spoke of the latch being too short so it would bother their childs crotch area.. but upon arrival, it doesnt! nor is it hard to set up! It took me 3 minutes to pop it together and adjust the straps!! I even had to mvoe them to the next notch up for my daughter which iw as worried I would be so confues because of so many reviews about it.. and I wasnt! It was SO SIMPLE!!! The crotch strap also adjusts farther out now! And the matrix fabric.. washed clean and doesnt fade or tear, it looks brand new after my daughter spilled a smoothie allll overr it! She loves the little cupholder and I love how you can adjust the headrest to fit perfect to YOUR child, I WOULD recomment this carseat.. not in the other colors however those tend to stain easy! The matrix is so easy to keep clean and it looks nice! I give this carseat five stars and Recommend it to everyone!!

I bought this car seat after alot of research. I have a 3 year old little boy who has pretty low muscle tone. I was looking at getting him a 300.00 car seat just to keep him in a 5 pt harness for longer because he doesnt have the tone to be in a lap belted booster yet.

This seat is a great seat for him at a great price! It is easy to use, but yet the straps are hard enough to get off that the kid can not do it himself (what we were battling with our old seat) I plan on getting a second seat when my 6 month old is 1 year and 20 lbs.

Great product

I am a CPST (car seat tech) as well as a proponent of extended rearfacing and harnessing. I personally would not use this product for a small 1 or 2 year old (they woudl be rearfacing), but this seat does fit those small kids well – much better than many other forward facing only carseats, if you insist on having them forward.

My 4 and 6 year old ride in this on a weekly basis, as well as I have using it for many kids from 2 to 8, as both a harnessed seat and high back booster. This is not the best booster seat possible, but the best of the “All-in-one’s” (except the Britax frontier). It makes a OK booster, especially if your child has outgrown the harness height.

The cup holder is one of the best on the market. It is built-in and not detachable like many. It slopes slightly toward the child and is easy for kids to reach to place and remove cups. It also has hiding cubby holes in the sides near the child’s legs – my kids love this feature :)

The GN is fairly easy to install either using LATCH or the seatbelt (NEVER BOTH), and the buckles are easy to do and undo (but not so easy as for little kids to be able to do it when you are driving)

Great for the FUSSIEST baby

My 1 1/2 yr old son never liked to be strapped down. We couldn’t last the shortest car ride without him crying to get out. I usually have to bribe with lots of snacks and fill my car with lot of toys. When we switched to this seat, my son loved it. No more fuss. We had this seat for sometime already but today’s 40+ miles really teasted this. My son not only did not fuss… he slept through the ride to and from my destination.
5 stars all the way! Great Job Graco!

Daughter loves it!

My daughter loves this seat! When I first assembled it and put her in it to determine the strap height, she didn’t want to get out! She loves the cubby holes in the arm rests, and I love that the cup holder is at the end of the armrest, instead of taking even more space on the side. The adjustability of this seat is awesome. My daughter is 2, and of average height, and she is only barely at the second strap height. She has LOTS of room to grow in this seat. I have had no problems installing and adjusting this seat. The bottom buckle can be difficult to release, but I think this is good. It just makes it more childproof, especially since she should be using the 5 pt harness all the way up to 65 lbs. We’ve been using this seat for a month now, and have no problems with it. We look forward to many years in this seat!

At around $[...], this seat is a great value!

Great Value. Highly Recommended!

I purchased this car seat for my four and a half year old son and we love it. It feels so much safer than the previous booster seat we were using that did not have a five-point harness and did not recline.

I was worried that my son would complain about the five-point harness, but that was not the case at all. He is very comfortable in this seat. With the seat reclined, he is able to nap without his having his head slump forward every time I hit the brakes. Also, the head rest is nicely contoured so that his head doesn’t slump from side to side.

We also love the nice deep cup holder (no more cups falling out of his reach!) and the little storage cubbies located under the arm rests.

This is the best value I’ve found for a car seat of this type. I’m thinking of getting a second one for our other car. . . .

Love this seat!! Former Britax customer

I recently purchased the Britax Regent for my 4 1/2 year old son and was convinced that by spending more money for the car seat, my son would be safer in it opposed to a less expensive one. I couldn’t be more wrong. The Britax Regent is a sturdy seat and I am impressed that the harness goes up to 80 lbs and I plan to use it in the future for that reason, but it was such a pain to install. I was looking for a second car seat that had a high harness weight limit and came across the Graco Nautilus. After doing some research on it and having my son try it out in the store I was convinced that this was the seat for us. The install in the car was a breeze with the latch and the tether strap and I actually got it tighter than the Britax Regent. I was so impressed with the seat overall that I decided to use it in my primary vehicle and put the Regent in my parent’s car for when they pick up my son from school. The Regent is a great car seat, don’t get me wrong but it is large and bulky and it is insanely time consuming to install and to get tight. I am in love with this car seat and only wish that I had discovered it sooner. I still plan to use the Regent when my son exceeds 65 lbs and can no longer be harnessed because the Regent can accommodate an 80 lb child with a 5 point, but I can not get over how impressed I am with this seat. Way to go Graco!!

Great so far!

So far our 2 year old loves her car seat! It looks like it will last for a long time to come. It fits well in the car, too. I have a 6 month old in a Britax Roundabout and the two car seats can fit right next to each other in my Volvo. It is great. Now guests don’t have to crawl over the car seats to sit in the middle. :) Easy to set up and secure.

Highly recommended if you have a bigger child!!

I was very happy to find this car seat on Amazon. My son is approaching 40 lbs. and is not yet 3 years old. He was outgrowning the harness in his old seat. I did a lot of research, and found that this seat was what looking I was looking for–at a reasonable price (some of the other carseats for bigger children are pretty pricey). I found it on sale at Walmart, but needed to wait until we had the appropriate funds. When we finally did, I went and found that it had sold. I checked the other Walmarts in the area and they were sold out, too. I was so thankful that I could get it through Amazon for $150 (the same price as it was at Walmart) and get free shipping!!

The seat was easy to assemble and easy to install in the car. It isn’t overly heavy or “awkward” as I thought a larger seat would. And because it converts to a booster seat, we can use it as long as we need to.

Love it

I own this seat, a Regent, a Roundabout & a Marathon for my 2 kids. My son is 2 1/2 & is currently using the Regent in my husband’s car & this in mine.
This seat is a great fit in my car, which is a mid-size sedan. The Regent just wouldn’t have fit, so this was an excellent choice for us. It installed fairly easily & we were able to get a very solid install. My parents actually purchased one for their car as well since they watch my son once a week and they love the seat too.
Overall, I would absolutely purchase this seat again.
